The reason Black women don’t exist when a token is included is because of male privilege. Some Black men like to pretend no such thing exists but the evidence is all over the cultural landscape.
It’s the divide part of “divide and conquer.” Well, one tactic, anyway.

Glade stays winning because they stay depicting a world where Black women exist, along side everyone else. Thank you.
like really B?
she couldn’t even be a rashida jones?
his first featured film with an all white cast comes out next week. I give it three more movies with him as the token before he gets a white girl.
Exactly where have you all been?
I remember having a “grand opening, grand closing” crush on him maybe 4 years ago. I briefly perused his social media at that time (read: stalked) and saw that he wasn’t checking for Black girls back then. Crush over. He hasn’t changed and will only continue to show his true color preference.
Good riddance, I say.
Black *clap* Women *clap* Don’t *clap* Exist.
This commercial depicts American football in the 1930s which, at this time, was incredibly racist with some team owners refusing to allow Blacks on their teams. Between 1927 and 1933 there were very few Black players or players of color.
From 1933 until after World War II, there would be no Black football players.
Was it so hard for Pepsi to cast one Black woman for the lone Black player, who would’ve obviously been facing incredible racism on and off the field?
Would a Black football player have even been encouraged/allowed to openly flirt or canoodle with a white woman in 1930? Without some kind of side eye or more serious repercussion? IN THE 1930s???
Emmett Till was lynched for the mere suggestion of flirting with a white woman IN 1955 - just to put things into perspective, date wise.
When history is re-written and/or romanticized, Black women are erased.
